The MMO Developer Awards
Massively Multiplayer Online Games are some of the most expensive and time consuming games to create and have become an ever increasingly popular entertainment value. In 2009, the gaming industry brought in
$18.8 billion while the movie industry brought in $10.6 billion. Actors, directors and even producers are well known in the average home,
however the people behind these amazing gaming creations are relatively unknown. The MMO
Developer Awards changes that by acknowledging the incredible talent that creates some of the biggest and most amazing games ever
created: Massively Multiplayer Online Games.

Nominees are chosen by the players who play the games at partnering media sites.

and their peers for creating an MMO that draws so many satisfied and engaged players in as often as partypoker or many of the other online sources of modern entertainment.
